Big dreams start small

Our preschool program across the pae ‘āina helps our youngest haumāna gain the confidence to dream of how they’ll create a brighter tomorrow. Our preschools are accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children, which recognizes early childhood programs that meet national standards of quality requirements. Through Hawaiian culture-based education we offer learning experiences in an environment that is safe, enriching and enjoyable. By connecting our keiki to their culture and language, we lay a foundation for future success.

The preschool ontime application closed October 31, 2025. We are accepting LATE preschool applications for all preschool sites for the 2026-2027 school year starting November 1, 2025 through January 31, 2026.

Haumāna of Kamehameha Preschool Waimānalo begin their day by chanting “E Ala E” at piko. 🌞 At just 3, 4, and 5 years old, they are learning the oli of our kūpuna and the values that guide us. Piko is a time to pause, connect, and celebrate the blessings of a new day — grounding each keiki in culture, faith, and community. 🌿

Haumāna at Ho‘aliku Drake Preschool stand proud in unity and aloha for Ke Aliʻi Pauahi and her kauoha (will). 💙 Together, keiki and kumu lifted their voices in chant and raised Hae Hawaiʻi in gratitude and honor for our beloved Princess Pauahi. 🌺 Through these experiences, our haumāna are learning to stand up for what matters to our lāhui — growing in aloha, confidence, and advocacy for their people and their future. ✨ #OlaPauahi #KamehamehaPreschools #ImuaKamehameha # HCBE
