Kamehameha Schools was founded by the will of Bernice Pauahi Bishop, the great-granddaughter of Kamehameha the Great.
At Kamehameha Schools Preschools, we are dedicated to E Ola! learner outcomes, which guides us in educating the whole child—academically, spiritually, culturally, physically, socially, and emotionally. We recognize the importance of early learning in cultivating future ‘ōiwi leaders rooted in ‘ike Hawai‘i. Across our 30 preschools statewide, we provide a nurturing environment that builds upon the teachings of ‘ohana, strengthening each keiki’s sense of kuleana and belonging. Through our programs, your child blossoms into a pua a Pauahi—a resilient, grounded leader prepared to carry forward their heritage and serve their community.
