This year has carried a deeper meaning for us all. Through challenge and uncertainty, our Kapālama ʻohana gathered with purpose, strength, and aloha to honor our beloved Ke Aliʻi Bernice Pauahi Pākī Bishop. In moments that asked much of us, we were reminded of who we are, and what binds us together…the chiefly kauoha of our Princess. I mua Class of 2026!

Haumāna, Ke Ali’i Pauahi’s legacy lives on in all of you. Through her generosity and unwavering belief in the power of education, she planted the seeds for your success long before you were born. Each of you reflects her hope for a thriving lāhui — graduating ʻōiwi who are capable of exercising the ea necessary for a thriving and self-determined lāhui. As you step into the next chapter of your journey, remember that you carry Pauahi wherever you go.

To our graduates: you leave this campus not only with knowledge and achievement, but with the strength of those that came before you and those that surround you. May you continue to honor Pauahi’s vision wherever you go — leading with aloha, serving with compassion, and remembering always that you are part of something greater than yourselves. E ola mau nā Kula ʻo Kamehameha. E ola mau ke aloha o Pauahi. Hoʻomaikaʻi, Class of 2026.

A special morning as the Class of 2026 and ʻohana gathered for Baccalaureate. What a special time to look back on the many memories at Kamehameha while also celebrating Ke Aliʻi Pauahi and Ke Akua. Through scripture and song, the class also embraced their future! I mua!
