About

Who are we?

Established in 1975, The Kamehameha Schools Resource Centers (KSRC) was founded to serve as a link between the island communities and Kamehameha Schools. Each center serves to perpetuate the legacy of Ke Ali‘i Bernice Pauahi Bishop in the following ways:

Community Outreach - KSRC serve as KS community contacts with such statewide community groups as Queen Lili‘uokalani Children's Center, Alu Like, Pūnana Leo, DHHL as well as local Department of Education and University of Hawai‘i and Community College school level contacts, etc. Work with these agencies includes the active participation in community educational and information fairs, scholarship programs, workshops, community development activities, Hawaiian cultural activities, preschool and K-12 school-based activities. They are also members of their local Hawaiian Agencies and Organizations (HAO) groups that meet regularly to discuss issues and concerns in their communities and share updates on programs and services.

Program Support - KSRC offices provide applicant processing and community support for Administration group units such as Admissions, Financial Aid & Scholarship Services and the Ho‘oulu Verification Services. KSRC also provides support to students and families through our various preschool and campus programs.
