‘Āina Pauahi

Hawai‘i real estate

Our ‘āina

Ke Ali‘i Bernice Pauahi Bishop was the last royal descendant of Kamehameha I. She dedicated her legacy to supporting the Hawaiian people. Our beloved princess inherited 25,569 acres from her father Abner Pākī, mother Laura Konia and Aunt ‘Akahi. Her landholdings grew to 431,378 acres following the passing of her beloved kaikua‘ana, Princess Ruth Ke‘elikōlani.

In 1883, Ke Ali‘i Pauahi placed this ‘āina into a trust, ensuring that her resources would uplift Native Hawaiian keiki through education for generations.

Today, Ke Kula ‘o Kamehameha stands as the embodiment of her chiefly kauoha, stewarding ‘Āina Pauahi to support education, mālama ‘āina, strengthen food systems, and advance ea for the lāhui.
