Windward Mall is pleased to host the Castle Complex School Supply Drive from Friday, July 14 to Sunday, July 16. Additionally, the mall is hosting the Salvation Army’s Cram the Van School Supply Drive on Saturday, July 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The community is invited to support haumāna in He‘eia with essential school supplies or monetary donations.
Castle Complex School Supply Drive

“Windward Mall is grateful to support haumāna and kumu in our community by hosting school supply drives all weekend long,” said Cesar Topacio, vice president and senior general manager of Windward Mall. “We’re committed to helping provide much-needed school supplies to our He‘eia community for the fourth year in a row.”
On Saturday, July 15, visit the Salvation Army van in the parking lot near Kamehameha Highway. Drive up and drop off donations to fill the van with school supplies for haumāna in He‘eia. Click here for a complete list of donation items needed.
“Your donations help to support and make a difference for every learner in this community,” said Gary Evora, commercial real estate senior asset manager at Kamehameha Schools. “Last July, Windward Mall hosted three school supply drives that raised more than $6,600 and helped more than 800 keiki and kumu in the He‘eia community. We are thankful for everyone’s support.”
Windward Mall is partnering with Representatives Scot Matayoshi and Lisa Kitagawa to host the Castle Complex School Supply Drive from Friday, July 14 through Sunday, July 16. Donations can be dropped off on Friday from 12 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Center. The community is invited to bring monetary donations and school supplies including pencils, erasers, crayons, markers, composition books, folders, backpacks, slippers, etc. These supplies will be distributed to schools in the Castle Complex, including ‘Āhuimanu, Ben Parker, Castle, He‘eia, Kahalu‘u, Kāne‘ohe, Kapunahala, King, Pū‘ōhala and Waiāhole.
