SALT at Our Kaka‘ako, urban Honolulu’s leading shopping and dining destination, is pleased to announce the opening of five new tenants. The new establishments, including three eateries and two businesses, join the more than 40 unique merchants at SALT at Our Kaka‘ako.
“SALT at Our Kaka‘ako is delighted to welcome these quality additions to our existing lineup of merchants,” said SALT at Our Kaka‘ako General Manager Dixie Diga. “SALT is uniquely positioned to cater to the growing Honolulu population with its prime location and compelling attributes–including a dynamic mix of local and national tenants, open-air spaces, extensive outdoor art, walkable streets, ample parking, and year-round community and cultural events.”
The new merchants include:
Mana + Pua: The newest tenant, Mana + Pua, is a locally owned bistro that opened in late June 2024. This contemporary eatery offers a unique take on classic European and North American foods using locally grown and raised ingredients from Hawai‘i. Located on the second floor of SALT at Our Kaka‘ako, Mana + Pua features an open-air dining room and bar with urban city views. Its menu includes innovative starters, Italian classics, shareable platters, and a variety of seafood selections, including locally caught fish from the family’s fishing charter. The bar serves hand-crafted cocktails and an extensive selection of wines.
The Things We Do: This beauty concept bar opened its first Hawai‘i location at SALT in June 2024 and offers high-quality products and services tailored to diverse skincare needs. With four locations in Southern California, this is their only Hawaiʻi branch.
ALO Cafe Hawaii: Beginning operations in April 2024, ALO Cafe Hawaii serves plant-based food and beverages, emphasizing fresh, high-quality ingredients for health-conscious and eco-conscious guests.
Inspired Closets Hawaii: Also opened in April 2024, this locally owned business specializes in custom storage solutions that blend practicality with aesthetic appeal, aiming to enhance clients’ living spaces.
Additionally, the center is pleased to welcome back T-Mobile after an extended closure for a global brand refresh.
SALT at Our Kaka‘ako, located in the vibrant Our Kaka‘ako neighborhood, opened in 2017 and features 80,000 square feet of retail, restaurant, and office space. It has quickly established itself in Honolulu’s retail landscape and was named the 2018 Retail Merchants of Hawai‘i Shopping Center of the Year.
